1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using Traders.io ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Traders.io is a forex trading education platform. The Platform allows users to:

View historical forex price charts
Make predictions on price movements using virtual currency ("coins")
Compete against other users or bot opponents in prediction challenges
Track their performance over time on a leaderboard

    Important: Traders.io is an educational and entertainment platform only. All trading activity on the Platform uses virtual coins with no monetary value. The Platform does not involve real money, real financial instruments, or real trading of any kind.
  

3. NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE

Nothing on Traders.io constitutes financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other type of advice. The Platform is designed for educational purposes only.

Past performance on the Platform — including your win rate, streak, or leaderboard position — does not indicate or guarantee future results in real financial markets. Real trading involves substantial risk of loss.

Traders.io is not a regulated financial institution, broker, or investment advisor. We are not registered with any financial regulatory authority.

4. ELIGIBILITY

To use the Platform, you must be:

At least 18 years of age
Legally permitted to use such services in your jurisdiction
Not previously banned or suspended from the Platform

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

5. USER ACCOUNTS

You may use the Platform as a guest without creating an account. If you choose to register, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Keep your login credentials confidential
Be responsible for all activity under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. VIRTUAL CURRENCY

The "coins" used on Traders.io are virtual currency with no real monetary value. Coins:

Cannot be exchanged for real money or goods
Cannot be transferred between users
Are awarded and deducted based on prediction outcomes
May be reset or modified at our discretion

We make no representation that coins will retain any value or continue to exist.

7. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to manipulate or cheat the prediction system
Use automated bots or scripts to play battles
Harass or abuse other users
Attempt to access systems or data you're not authorised to access
Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the Platform
Use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it

Violations may result in immediate account termination without notice.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content on Traders.io — including but not limited to the game design, interface, branding, text, and code — is the property of Traders.io and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The historical forex price data displayed on the Platform is sourced from Twelve Data and subject to their terms of service. This data is provided for educational display purposes only.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without prior written permission.

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
The historical price data will be accurate, complete, or up to date
The Platform will be free of viruses or harmful components
Any results obtained from using the Platform will be accurate or reliable

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Traders.io and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed €100 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, whichever is less.

We are not responsible for any real-world financial losses resulting from strategies or insights gained on the Platform.

11. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk.

12. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

13. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
